Bergs' Backyard Turkey Trot

A scenic, hilly ~4-mile trail run right out our back door, looping the Ouray Perimeter Trail, Upper Cascade Falls Trail, and Portland Trail. Free to register. All paces, all ages, all welcome.

The Course

Starting and finishing right at the Bergs' place on Hillcrest Ct, the route climbs up to the Ouray Perimeter Trail, swings past Upper Cascade Falls, and returns via the Portland Trail.

What to Bring

Trail-ready shoes (this is singletrack with real elevation change)
Layers, since late-November mornings in Ouray run cold
Water, especially if you're taking it slow
A watch or phone if you want to track your time. This is a fun run, not a timed race

Good to Know

This is a fun run/community event, not a chip-timed race.
Course will be marked, but bring a phone with the route saved just in case.
Parents: kids under 18 need a parent or guardian signature on the waiver during registration.
Dogs are welcome!
